GDScript vs C# in Godot
GDScript pros:
the built-in ID is way better at highlighting GDScript syntax and pointing out mistakes as you go. it doesn't do this at all for C#
you can negatively index arrays in GDScript, which is really nice
the engine is actually fully documented for GDScript, which it most certainly isn't for C#.
GDScript cons:
the modulo operator works wrong, i.e., it doesn't work for negative numbers. -1%5 == -1. it took me ages to figure out why i couldn't index this damn string correctly.
i fucking hate gdscript. why do i have to type "var" before each new variable if we're not doing static typing? why do you only have two types of collection, "array" (really "list") and "dictionary"? i could sure use stuff like tuples and sets and so forth. why can't functions return multiple values? you also can't unpack arrays like in python (var1, var2, var3 = array_with_three_values), which is annoying as shit.
you can't overload functions. or define operators for custom classes. all the time you are saving me by not having to type semicolons and curly braces is being wasted writing the most ungainly shit known to man.
fuck this noise. i'm going back to C#. yes, i have to wait for your rickety ass to compile it every time, but the better integration to the engine is not worth having to use your weird fucked-up python wanna be scripting language.

Thank you for more bear facts! Now I have more bear facts than I know what to do with, that is until I encounter one in the wild and want to know the correct level of fearing-for-my-life. Or if I want to rethink my judgment of the (for the moment still making the rounds as a very popular meme) "man or bear" test, and say that averaging over all types of bear, the danger from a bear might be negligible enough (well, modulo considerations like how bears are distributed geographically, and how bear populations compare) that I should choose the bear for my daughter to find in the woods. Mea culpa, I was probably wrong to assume that a man is the safer option, mainly because bears are apparently a lot less dangerous on average than most of us assume.
If you [general audience "you"] can't tell from my tone, I still hold that the "man or bear" test is obnoxious and, outside of highlighting a highly specific and narrow aspect of gender dynamics, is not the knock-down feminist argument the internet seems to think it is. Sorry, this isn't aimed at the asker, bear facts are cool. Maybe a good thing to come out of this new meme is that we'll all wind up learning a lot more about bears in the surrounding discourse, because God knows it's not going to lead to anything constructive in the arena of gender issues or social justice discourse.

My Esoteric Programming Language Synopsis
Been looking into esoteric programming languages, or programming languages whose purpose is NOT to make a programmer's life easier, but rather to be weird and often confusing. Here are my reviews:
<>< (Fish): This language revolves around the moving a pointer around the program itself, which is read as a 2 dimensional grid of characters. The pointer moves to the right by default, but you can change its direction with the arrow-looking characters (<,>,^,v). You can also reflect the instruction pointer with the mirror-looking characters (|,_,/,\\), which reflect the arrow the direction that makes sense based on what way it is going and the geometry of the characters. On top of this, the language is stack-based. For those who don't recall the first few pages of Homestuck, a stack is a data structure that stores a list of values like an array, except the only accessible datum in the stack is the most recently entered one. Programmers have no business using stacks in the year 2023. Other neat details include the trampoline instruction (!) which jumps over a spot in the grid, and because you need to use a stack, to print a value from code, you need to write it in the code backwards. Also when you get an error, the compiler says "Something smells fishy..." Difficulty 3/10
Brainfuck: Brainfuck was made by a man trying to make the smallest programming language compiler he could. The program instructions rely on an arbitrarily large 1 dimensional array of numbers. Brainfuck has 8 single-character commands, and all other characters are treated as comments. This is a brainfuck program to write "Hello World":

Hexagony: Like <><, Hexagony works by sending a pointer along the program, treating it like a grid of characters. The difference is that Hexagony programs are on a hexagonal grid. This is Hello World in Hexagony:

INTERCAL: Compiler Language With No Pronounceable Acronym, or INTERCAL, was one of the first esoteric programming languages, created in 1972. The language was designed to make common operations needlessly difficult, while adding keywords for other operations to make the whole thing unpleasant to look at. There is a keyword “PLEASE” that doesn’t do anything, although if you don’t include enough “PLEASE” commands, the compiler will give an error stating your program is not polite enough. Unlike most of the programming languages on this list, INTERCAL is too slow when compiled to be used practically. In 1992 a journalist tested the speed of Intercal against C. In C, it took less than a second to compute all the prime numbers up to 65536. In INTERCAL, it took over 17 hours. Difficulty: 8/10 LOLCODE: The syntax of LOLCODE is inspired by “lolspeak,” the English dialect of lolcat captions. Every LOLCODE program begins with “HAI” and ends with “KTHXBYE”. To import library STDIO, use the command “CAN HAZ STDIO?” The underlying structure of LOLCODE is actually fairly standard, which makes this esolang pretty accessible.

Malbolge: How do you print “Hello, World” in Malbolge?

Malbolge was designed to be the most difficult programming language in existence. The language determines which of the eight available instructions to execute by adding the current instruction to the current instruction’s index in memory, modulo 94. There are no arithmetic operators except for the *crazy operator*, a Malbolge original that takes two numbers in their ternary form and determines the result digit by digit using an unintuitive table. The crazy operator is not commutative, and is your only arithmetic operation. Whenever an instruction is executed, it is encrypted so that it will not do the same thing next time. Due to the complexity of Malbolge, a turing complete version does not currently exist, limited by the size of programs allowable.

If I could understand why the current mindset is to imagine an unsuccessful artist and a successful engineer and then to try to decide which one is the bad guy I'd be able to crack open all of pop culture and politics.

No, this is not quite right. You aren't comparing people who want to be programmers with people who want to be artists; you are comparing people who are programmers with people who want to be artists.
Society can also support only a limited number of engineers; the marginal engineer is not as needed as another cook, truck driver, miner, etc. but somehow this doesn't cash out to "Either capital throws scraps to engineers or a small elite get to be engineers and gate-keep the rest."
I'm actually fairly certain that the supply of people who want to work at, let's say, Google is quite high relative to Google's demand for programmers, but Google doesn't actually have demand for most of them. The number of people who Google actually wants to hire is low compared to Google's hiring demands, so Google engineers command high salaries (Modulo Google's demonstrated collusion with other tech companies to depress wages of course)
Compare: The number of people who want to be Jeff Koons is very high compared to the demand for gargantuan aluminum balloon animals; the number of people who are Jeff Koons is low compared to the demand for gargantuan aluminum balloon animals, so Koons commands incredible sums of money, even compared to most engineers.
So why is your archetypal artist the wannabe and your archetypal programmer the highly-paid engineer? Why not compare the multi-millionaire artist or film star to the guy who washed out of college while trying to get a computer science degree and works at McDonalds?
No, seriously, I am asking, this seems like a crucially important question that I do not know the answer to.
As a number of surly people have pointed out to me, in the market demand for a good is demand for a good at a certain price. Maybe you aren't in the market for a Ferrari now, but what if I offered to sell you a brand new one for ten bucks?
AI art (And programming) is likely to increase the demand for certain images, because the cost of producing those images will go down. People who have no demand for something at a cost of $50 might be happy to buy it at $10.
Unfortunately, if you sell your labor, rather than owning capital, you are in a very bad position to exploit the increase in demand that attends decrease in cost due to high supply.
If you make widgets in a widget factory and the price of widgets goes down, you can arbitrarily increase the number of widgets you make; if you provide man-hours of labor, and the price at which you sell a man-hour of labor goes down, you can't just produce arbitrarily more man-hours to compensate; there is a very low upper limit to the number you can provide.
My point is, what happens when all labor becomes low-skilled labor because AI makes it possible for anybody to make an image, or a computer program, or pilot a plane? Because all labor cashes out to "Tell the AI what it ought to do"?
How is this not seen as a giant fucking looming crisis for the capitalist economic system?
Pointing out that impoverished commie societies are unable to support a large number of artists, or even that society in general is limited in the number of artists it can support relative to fry cooks is pretty much entirely a non-sequitur given the actual dynamics at work and the actual threat.
While I really hate the narrative of "tech bros" because of how it conflates shitty CEOs with non-shitty base-level programmers, and how it conflates Dunning-Kruger-y early adopters with people who Know Their Shit about computers...
...On the AI art issue, I will say, there is probably a legit a culture clash between people who primarily specialize in programming and people who primarily specialize in art.
Because, like, while in the experience of modern working illustrators a free commons has ended up representing a Hobbseyan experience of "a war of all against all" that's a constant threat to making a living, in software from what I can tell it's kinda been the reverse.
IE, freedom of access to shared code/information has kinda been seen as A Vital Thing wrt people's abilities to do their job at a core level. So, naturally, there's going to be some very different reactions to the morality of scraped data online.
And, it's probably the same reason that a lot of the creative commons movement came from the free software movement.
And while I agree a lot with the core principles of these movements, it's also probably unfortunately why they so often come off as tone-deaf and haven't really made that proper breakthrough wrt fighting against copyright bloat.
It also really doesn't help that, in terms of treatment by capital, for most of our lives programmers have been Mother's Special Little Boy whereas artists (especially online independent artists post '08 crash) have been treated as The Ratboy We Keep In The Basement And Throw Scraps To.
So, it make sense the latter would have resentment wrt the former...

i agree that there's a common view where merchants are evil because they're not productive, but you're somewhat wrong on the intellectual history side of things. Adam Smith believed the labor theory of value* and Marx's labor theory of value in Capital is largely derived from Smith's and Ricardo's (because he was responding to the dominant economic thought of his day). Marx's primary innovation afaik was his emphasis on the split between exchange-value/price and use-value/utility (which he views in its concrete, particular manifestations rather than as an abstract aggregatable quality, e.g. the use-value of a coat is it keeps you warm and dry).
i havent read Ricardo but if wikipedia is to be believed, Ricardo and Marx differ from Smith in that they attempt to actually count the full amount of labor embodied in commodities. on the other hand, Smith and Marx differ from Ricardo in that they believe laborers receive the full, fair price of their labor as wages (yes, Marx believes this**). in Marx and Smith, unlike Ricardo, the LTV is intended to be a description of actual price formation (on average, in equilibrium, modulo supply and demand, etc) rather than some moral ideal about what prices should be.
and Marx at least is very clear that transportation of goods is productive labor*** because it generates use-value by moving them from somewhere they're less useful to somewhere they're more useful (Capital vol 2 ch 6). i didn't make it through the whole Wealth of Nations but i assume Smith says something similar somewhere.
*Wealth of Nations vol 1 ch 5: "The real price of everything, what everything really costs to the man who wants to acquire it, is the toil and trouble of acquiring it...Labour was the first price, the original purchase-money that was paid for all things. It was not by gold or by silver, but by labour, that all the wealth of the world was originally purchased; and its value, to those who possess it, and who want to exchange it for some new productions, is precisely equal to the quantity of labour which it can enable them to purchase or command... At all times and places that is dear which it is difficult to come at, or which it costs much labour to acquire; and that cheap which is to be had easily, or with very little labour. Labour alone, therefore, never varying in its own value, is alone the ultimate and real standard by which the value of all commodities can at all times and places be estimated and compared. **This is one of the most common misunderstandings about Marx even among self-identified Marxists. This post is already long but the short version is, unlike Ricardo, he's not mad that workers aren't paid "fairly", but instead thinks "fairness" under the system means awful conditions for workers. I can go into more detail about how he theoretically justifies this if desired.
***Also probably worth noting that this is not a moral term. "Productive" to Marx means "producing value for capitalists". Domestic servants, for instance, are not productive laborers in this schema (despite obviously doing hard work with real utility) because their labor is purchased for its use-value directly as a form of consumption for the wealthy, rather than as a way to make money. Marx is more vague about administration, management, etc, but does make a point somewhere in Vol 1 of noting that these jobs are usually not done by the actual big capitalists, but rather by people hired for the specific purpose and paid wages like any other worker.

...the rich are quite literally rich because everyone else is poor. Wealth doesn't exist independent of poverty. Wealth is a social claim to gatekeep access to resources, so that people who lack that claim must labor for you to access those resources to survive.

My ancestors feared famine, and I do not. Is this because my ancestors were poor (relative to the rest of Denmark) and I'm rich (relative to the rest of Denmark)? No, this is because we have more food. We have more fertilizer, more machines, more medicines. We simply have more.

Once again bullshit. Poverty and deprivation is the ground state of mankind, if you do not labor you starve. This is biology not sociology. A man on a desert island will starve to death alone with absolutely nobody around to be subordinate to.

Also this is also portraying him as some kind of dictator, able to push Israel around at his whim and make it all about his own desire to cling to power. Its a parliamentary democracy, he runs a coalition.
I'm talking on the margins here, short term impacts that will be realized within the next few months to a year. He doesn't need to be a dictator, just needs to be influential.
So to that extent it may push Israel to be slightly more hardline. But I expect this to be a minor effect, and also its really not very much related to the actuality of the warrant, instead a vibe-based sense of being attacked. I think getting the right causal pathways is an important thing in analysis!
This is more or less what I'm gesturing at, yes, modulo your meaning of "actuality of the warrant". I think if the ICC put out a statement saying "Bibi is a no good, very bad man, please arrest him if you feel like it" and didn't issue a warrant, there would be functionally no effect at all. The warrant has, I think, a mechanistic impact on the politics of it all, regardless of whether he actually gets arrested. In the long term I suspect the impact is good; in the immediate term I suspect the impact is negligible, and in the short to medium term I suspect it will somewhat bolster overall support for the war and temporarily harden Israeli policy against peace before they ultimately cave.
Not too excited about the arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant because they'll never actually get arrested and it's going to shore up their domestic support, but also if the ICC doesn't do that there's no point in them existing, so good on them

Lately, I’ve been thinking about practical cosplay (everyday wear that also doubles as a cosplay outfit). So basically, I’ve been thinking about Sakaido and El-Melloi II’s outfits a lot, since they’re rather practical while still looking cool. All I’m missing for El-Melloi’s outfit with the red jacket is a black button-up shirt, for El-Melloi’s outfit with the black jacket I’m missing a red scarf and I’m missing a brown button-up shirt for Sakaido’s (although the yellow scarf I got today to get one step closer to two of those isn’t the right mustard colour, it’s more of a lighter yellow).
Also, I noticed it’s (according to the katakana) meant to be “Id: Invaded”, but heck, it’s been ID: Invaded for so long for me, I don’t care either way.

I always thought Mister Fixer sounded sad and now I think I know why…the bit I remember the most (the line that goes “Mister Fixer” and the bit around it) sounds like the singer is lamenting their life. Now that I see the visuals again after a few weeks (I’d get fatigued if I watched all that Fate/ and still managed to keep up with simulcasts, so I’ve been taking the simulcasts in a few eps at one time), Mister Fixer does quite sound like a crime drama song, but not as much as Thought I Knew (from Stand My Heroes).
I’ve seen images of Anaido and Sakaido in the same well for a few weeks now, so this cooperation bit is no surprise at all.
I believe Fukuda is asking why Narihisago is a –san to her even though they’ve worked together a while.

Does Anaido remember who he is in the ID Well? I presume not, but it’s hard to tell since we haven’t had as much time with him as we have Sakaido (not to mention I’ve been regularly filling my head with Fate/ and other things as well lately…so it’s hard to remember).
It’s interesting. Fukuda has the same piercings as Anaido (and even a ring on one pointer finger that matches them!), so he must’ve tried experimenting with…more legal holes, to put it one way…before getting his most iconic one.

In #Brake-Broken, which I read the first chapter of earlier (there’s a sample on the Young Ace website), Sakaido notices he doesn’t have a phone with him to call anyone or a licence (because in that manga, he wakes up in a car). It’s likely this will work the same way and Anaido won’t have any possessions on him, aside from the clothes on his back, accessories and the item that was stolen from his wrist/s.
Rings on both fingers…so I should be talking about them in plural. Update: I like how Anaido’s off-the-wall thought processes break up the inherent seriousness of Sakaido’s deductions and utilitarian way of doing things.

Okay, so for the sake of my practical cosplay, I knew I’d need this episode. Sakaido wears a long-sleeve brown shirt with some kind of shirt under that (either brown or black), plus a mustard-coloured scarf. (Note El-Melloi II wears a black shirt under his black button-up shirt, so I went with black as well.) In Brake Broken, I also noticed he wears dark socks (or that could be the leggings) and runners with a lightning bolt on them (I had to make do with generic black runners with a white stripe on the bottom), plus the iconic brown shorts over those (with a triangle pattern)…Why does Sakaido have a scarf anyway, versus Anaido and Miyo who don’t? As much as I like scarves, especially where colder weather is involved, getting a specific colour scarf was a bit of a headache to be honest, since I took 3 trips before deciding on the one I was going to buy (and even then, someone got it before me! The scarf I have now was my 2nd choice). Update: The shorts, leggings and undershirt are black, but I don’t know if Sakaido is wearing any socks or if they’re black too.
Just to note what Anaido has as well (although a coat like that, with the red detailing and flaps, would be hard to find…), he has a blue coat, suspenders, a white button-up top, a string tie (had to google what that was called, although its name is pretty obvious now that I know), black pants (which kinda look like leggings, but they’re not) and leather boots.
Now Sakaido can go into the loony bin…he’s talking to Kaeru.
Is Anaido going in circles? Sakaido caught up real fast…
Um, hey, protip: When stuck in quicksand, try to “float” on it. If you move, you’ll sink into it more. I don’t know how I know that, but I did stick it into my mind for times like this.
Notably, Anaido is about a head taller than Sakaido. Either Sakaido is unnaturally short and Anaido is average…or Anaido is just tall in that way some men are.

TROFEO 2020: ANCORA PIÙ DIVERTIMENTO CON LE “MINIENDURANCE” ALLUNGATE A 90 MINUTI E LO SPETTACOLO DELLA GARA IN NOTTURNA
L’edizione 2020 del Trofeo Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance ha in serbo significative novità, mirate a garantire ancora più equilibrio e divertimento a tutti i partecipanti. Innanzitutto, le gare “miniendurance” saranno più lunghe, con la durata che passa da 60 a 90 minuti. In questo modo tutti i piloti avranno a disposizione più tempo per divertirsi in sella e le corse saranno ancora più movimentate, dato che il numero minimo di cambi pilota in pit lane - con turni di guida che rimangono di 15 minuti - salirà da 3 a 5. Saranno perciò premiate ancora di più la costanza di rendimento e l’affiatamento tra i due piloti, in linea con quella che è la maniera “guzzista” di intendere le corse, dando cioè priorità all’amicizia e allo spirito di squadra.
Nell’ultima gara del 2019 a Misano hanno preso il via 25 moto per 50 piloti, uno spettacolo indimenticabile che ha sancito il successo della prima edizione del Trofeo Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance, una proposta assolutamente unica e originale nel panorama del motociclismo sportivo nazionale grazie al format delle gare “miniendurance” con equipaggio di due piloti. Ma è stata tra le caratteristiche vincenti anche la scenografica e adrenalinica partenza delle gare in stile “Le Mans”, con le moto allineate su un lato della pista e i piloti che allo start attraversano di corsa il nastro d’asfalto per salire in sella e partire. Sono gesti che sembravano ormai soltanto un ricordo legato alle leggendarie corse endurance del passato, e che invece il Trofeo Moto Guzzi sta facendo rivivere ad appassionati che sono sempre più numerosi.
Nel 2020 chi parteciperà al monomarca potrà assaporare un’altra forte emozione solitamente riservata a pochissimi fortunati piloti: correre di notte. La gara in programma a settembre sul circuito di Adria si disputerà infatti in notturna il sabato sera, con la luce dei riflettori - e dei fari delle V7 III, montati soltanto in questa particolare occasione - a illuminare la pista.
Invariato il numero degli appuntamenti, che sono cinque: si parte da Varano il 26 aprile per proseguire poi sulle piste di Vallelunga (24 maggio), Magione (21 giugno), Adria (5 settembre, gara in notturna) e Misano (11 ottobre).

Oltre a dispositivi di sicurezza tra cui ad esempio sottocoppa e protezione della leva del freno anteriore, il Kit - obbligatorio e ovviamente uguale per tutti - comprende un pacchetto di modifiche funzionali ed estetiche. Tra queste il cupolino, semi manubri, impianto di scarico completo, pedane rialzate, fianchetti laterali, sella monoposto e parafango posteriore, tabelle porta numero, kit cartucce sospensioni anteriori e ammortizzatori posteriori. Completano l’equipaggiamento una specifica mappatura della centralina motore e pastiglie freno anteriori dedicate.
Gli unici aggiornamenti per il 2020, sviluppati sulla base dell’esperienza raccolta nella prima edizione, riguardano l’impianto frenante, con l’adozione di un disco freno anteriore maggiorato in grado di sopportare più agevolmente le sollecitazioni, considerata anche la maggior durata delle gare. A ciò si aggiungono ovviamente anche i particolari necessari per affrontare la spettacolare gara in notturna, nella fattispecie un cupolino con l’alloggiamento per il faro e una luce posteriore supplementare.
Il costo del kit completo, acquistabile rivolgendosi alla concessionaria Guareschi Moto, è pari a 3.840 Euro (più IVA). L’installazione del kit può essere eseguita in autonomia oppure gestita direttamente da Guareschi Moto. Per poter prendere parte all’edizione 2020, i Team già in possesso del Kit 2019 (o di una Moto Guzzi V7 III già allestita in configurazione Trofeo 2019) potranno acquistare soltanto i componenti aggiuntivi inclusi nel “Kit aggiornamento 2020”, disponibile al prezzo di 465 Euro (più IVA).

È confermata anche nel 2020 la preziosa collaborazione con Pirelli, fornitore unico del Trofeo. Tutte le V7 III al via calzeranno ancora le gomme Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp RS, coperture racing sviluppate appositamente per la Moto Guzzi V7 III e rivelatesi performanti in ogni condizione. A tutti i Team iscritti all’intero Trofeo Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance 2020 verrà fornito gratuitamente il primo treno di gomme.
UN FORMAT DI GARA PENSATO PER TUTTI, L’ATMOSFERA DELLE CORSE PIÙ CLASSICHE IN UN AMBITO GIOVANE E DI GRANDE COINVOLGIMENTO
In pieno stile “guzzista”, il format dei weekend di gara del Trofeo Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance vede l’inserimento del confronto agonistico in un’atmosfera di grande coinvolgimento. Un fine settimana da vivere coltivando i sentimenti di amicizia e condivisione, che da sempre caratterizzano lo sport più sano e ne rappresentano il significato più profondo. Il format di gara e la scelta della V7 III rendono il Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance perfetto per il divertimento di tutti, dal neofita della pista all’appassionato più smaliziato.
Ogni fine settimana di gara prevede al sabato due turni di prove cronometrate, entrambi della durata di 20 minuti per ciascun pilota. La media dei migliori rilievi cronometrici ottenuti dai due piloti dell’equipaggio determinerà la posizione di partenza di ciascun team nello schieramento della gara della domenica (sabato sera, per l’appuntamento di Adria). Un evidente richiamo alle leggendarie corse endurance di un tempo risiede proprio nella partenza della gara, che avverrà in stile “Le Mans”, ovvero con le moto allineate su un lato della pista e i piloti che allo start attraversano di corsa il nastro d’asfalto per salire in sella e partire.
In corsa, ciascun pilota non potrà guidare per più di 15 minuti (più 5 minuti di tempo per rientrare ai box dall’esposizione dell’apposito cartello “cambio”): ciò significa che la gara - della durata di 90 minuti - sarà movimentata da almeno cinque cambi pilota, che avvengono nella corsia box. Il rifornimento non è consentito. Al termine della gara verranno assegnati punteggi ai primi 15 team classificati.

The UK Premiere of the Pininfarina Battista Hyper GT
Following a global reveal at the recent Geneva International Motor Show, Automobili Pininfarina today announces that the 1,900 hp, pure-electric Battista hyper GT will make its UK debut from Friday 5th April as part of the world’s most exclusive motor racing event – the 77th Goodwood Members’ Meeting.
Presented in a bespoke pavilion in the Goodwood Motor Circuit paddock, the new luxury hypercar will be joined by an icon in Pininfarina’s back catalog of design, a stunning 1955 Lancia Aurelia owned by the Duke of Richmond.
Members of the Goodwood Road and Racing Club are invited to meet with the new team of experts responsible for designing and developing the Battista, including the legendary ‘fastest man on the Goodwood Hill’, Nick Heidfeld. Former Formula 1 and Formula E racer Nick is Automobili Pininfarina’s lead development driver tasked with tuning the Battista’s dynamic performance. At Goodwood he will be joined by Rene Wollmann who, having led the development team for the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE, has recently joined Automobili Pininfarina as Program Director, Sportscars.
Nick Heidfeld said: “It is a privilege to return to Goodwood for the UK debut of the Pininfarina Battista. The Members’ Meeting is full of legendary sports cars that in many cases have become game changers. We aim for Battista to be regarded in the same way in the future and to be recognized for the perfect combination of beautiful aesthetics and unprecedented performance.
“The innovative EV powertrain beneath the Battista’s carbon fibre body and monocoque provides the perfect platform on which to develop the most powerful car that will have ever been designed and built in Italy. I’m looking forward to sharing the past, present and future of Pininfarina and presenting the Battista at Goodwood in April.”
Representatives of HR Owen and Rybrook Cars, Automobili Pininfarina’s selected retail partners for the UK, will also be supporting the car’s 77th Goodwood Members’ Meeting debut. Prospective clients are requested to apply for ownership of one of no more than 50 European-bound Battista hypercars that will be available in the UK from late 2020 through the retail specialists, currently priced at an estimated €2m.
The Bianco Sestriere pearlescent white Battista design model that starred in Geneva will be on display at the 77th Goodwood Members’ Meeting. Its pure white form features just a few complementary design accents that will remind connoisseurs of the famous Ferrari 512S Modulo concept of 1970.
